Canada’s Legion Poppy Campaign

Every year starting the last Friday in October Canadian’s from coast to coast begin wearing a poppy to honour Canada’s Veterans and those who sacrificed their lives to enjoy the freedom we have today.

Over the last few years I have been decorating the Memorial Hall in their honour at my hometown of Waterdown, Ontario Canada.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.
