Goerz Anschütz Ango - Vimy Ridge

It's not every day that I'm able to cross paths at the Canadian Memorial at Vimy Ridge, France with a 113-year-old camera that served its early career across France and Belgium during the first World War.

I began with taking a few pictures across the pockmarked battlefield area but I couldn't leave until I actually took one of the memorial itself.

To me it serves as an unbelievable connection of service to the spirit of those historic days so long ago.
