Beaumont Hamel Newfoundland Memorial

This memorial honours Newfoundlanders that were lost during WW1 that have no known grave. The bronze caribou statue that stands before you is the emblem of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and it stares in Defiance and Guards against its foe watching for eternity to those men lost. This is a very sacred ground here in France to all Newfoundlanders and now all Canadians.
