Provence French Lavender

As you drive around anywhere in the region of northern France, it would hard not to run into Provence Lavender at the sides of the roads.

It is a French hybrid lavender called Lavandin that is commonly grown and cultivated for its oil and dried buds.

Today stopping by the Fricourt German Cemetery I found a rather large variety of this plant and well, I just had to pick some.

The aroma is very intense almost to the point of being too strong.

So, a little will go a very long way.
